This trail is well known in the mountain bike community for some large natural rock drops. Signs of man made jumps also still exists. The council are working to stop illegal trail building in the area and have gone to the effort of fencing off certain sections. Please stick to the main trails.
There are a number of side trails, many of which have been used by MTBers in days gone by. The more time that you spend in this area the more trails that you begin to uncover, all of which are in varying states of repair. Also hidden on this hillside is a clearing which looks like it has been used for campfires, or simply a place to hang out. It’s proximity to the Mater Maria Catholic College is a sign of who may be using that particular clearing.
A wide variety of ferns can be found on the hill. There are also a large number of extremely large boulders about, which make for interesting viewing. Although this trail is easily accessible in the middle of Warriewood, a mere 20 seconds into the trail you lose all signs of suburbia and can then mentally escape into nature.

You can then drop down to the Warriewood Waterfall, then after finishing that trail you can jump across the road into Warriewood Wetlands West Side Trail, and then link that up with Warriewood Wetlands East Side Trail.
